Every evening, the midnight bus drives to the sleeping places of homeless people in Hamburg. Volunteers bring hot drinks, bread, warm blankets, and clothes. I had the chance to document their work during my studies in late 2011 and created a small photo documentary. Later, these photos were not only used by the Diakonie, but they were also displayed in the Museum der Arbeit in Hamburg in the exhibition "DIE NACHT. Alles außer Schlaf".
